Where are you located?

I’m located in Ackley where I have a downtown studio. I love to photograph there or in nearby Iowa Falls. Maybe you want to get locations that none of your friends will have OR I can come to you and scout the perfect spots in your home town. Mileage and travel expenses will be determined case by case.

How does a session work?

You have nothing to worry about, I got you. I’m going to match your outfits with the perfect spot for your style and outfit choice. Then I show you exactly how to pose and I’ll direct you from behind the camera, even including when to be serious, smile or making you laugh. Photo shoots are super fun and easy going!

After the photo shoot, we will meet up for an in person viewing appointment. This is when we will go through your images together and create a collection perfect for you.

What do I wear?

Whether senior, family or intimate, your portraits should be a representation of YOU. Think about what your favorite pieces of clothing are and put together outfits around those!

Did you know that I can actually help you choose the perfect outfits? We can get together in person or Facetime before your session for a clothing consultation. I can help you narrow down your favorite looks, choose shoes to match or pull pieces right out of your closet!

Can I get the digitals?

Of course! We live in a digital age and most people love to share their images electronically or print them themselves. You can purchase the entire set of retouched images from your session or choose only your favorites.
